¡Estamos Aquí!
I created ¡Estamos Aquí! (meaning “We Are Here!”) to bring attention to Latinx designers and creators in honor of Latinx Heritage month.
Latinx people make up just 8% of our industry. It’s incredibly important to me that we push for access and education for people of color to pursue careers in the arts.
The piece was submitted as part of the All Hands show. An art show comprised of 16 graphic designers working in Philadelphia making work without a computer. The opening took place on October 11th, 2019 at the Huddle Gallery in Philadelphia.
